Models of the circular economy have been around for a long while, but it’s only been in recent years that people have taken interest and agreed on what it represents. The prime driver of this phenomenon has been the increasing energy costs and growing consciousness of environmental issues, the need to preserve resources and the opportunities available for future generations. We know that the pathway from a traditional to a circular economy is long. But AURORA’s work shows what a success products like our re-granulate and re-compounds can be on the market – that we shouldn’t be worried about comparisons with goods manufactured from scratch – and how the consistency with which we operate helps to change the market landscape to a more sustainable one. Consumers also benefit from the circular economy: they’re the drivers for innovative, durable products that lead to cost savings and an enhanced quality of life over the longer term. We aspire to become a key component in this development.
