Here at AURORA, five compounding lines with the most modern dosing systems and drying technology, as well as the application of dry and wet separation in the extrusion process, are a matter of course. During the production process, the share of green energy is around 40% and the production facilities are equipped with cooling units that incorporate a heat recovery system.
Our technology is based on two firm pillars – innovative in-house development and efficiency in production processes. This enables us to align our product range to new market conditions in an agile way, fulfil client-specific orders, guarantee delivery capability and drive a stable pricing policy.

Research and development

AURORA runs its own R&D hub on its main site in Neuenstein. This is where product testing and further measures for assuring quality are carried out. But the laboratory offers much more: this is where we search for the solutions of tomorrow.

Production

AURORA is characterised by extremely efficient production facilities, among which are high-performance milling machines with dust extraction and fine-metals detection, as well as cooling units incorporating heat recovery systems. In addition, we monitor the energy usage of each specific machine.
